The Democrats’ new election bill will allow politicians to use your tax dollars to pay for their campaigns. In other words, you may have to pay for Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi to get re-elected. Insane.

That’s not how it works. The money is designed to promote 3rd parties and challengers by allowing them money that incumbents have through PACs and Super PACs. There’s a cap too. So if you raise x dollars, you no longer get the aid. Promote transparency

I would rather have taxpayers contributed to election campaigns than a having handful of billionaires controlling our politicians.

I'm ok with that. What I'm not ok with is what you didn't do for those kids. On YOUR WATCH.

What's bonkers is that it's possible for the rich to buy off politicians. Public funding for campaigns will reduce rampant corruption.

It’s to make democracy and voting more equal. No more gerrymandering, no more dark money. So what exactly are you scared of?

Yay! That means it would be the only source of campaign funds. It’s time to get mega donors out of politics.
