And in a perfect world: the jury is supposed to be fair and impartial.... Congressman don't cover up the sexual abuse of children... President's don't incite insurrection... and conspiracies have no place in Congress... Yet, here we are.

The jury shouldn’t be assisting the defendant! @LindseyGrahamSC

The President shouldn’t have sent an angry mob to Capital Hill either but yet here we are.

Presiding over an #ImpeachmentTrial in the Senate isn't the same as a judge presiding over a trial in a court of law. If it was; several jurors wld have been #UNFIT 2b jurors during voir dire. #TedCruz & #JoshHawley ; then there were House members that wldn't have been able2vote

And people that have already made up their minds and stated so should not be on the jury either, but here we are.

First-hand witnesses to the insurrection should not be on the jury, yet all Senators will be. A jurist is supposed to be impartial & take all the evidence into consideration, yet Republican Senators already stated they will not find Trump guilty. Shit happens & we deal with it

Could you imagine the craziness that would occur if this was a Republican Senate doing this to a Democrat? Only can imagine

And Republicans should not lie about a fair election that caused the insurrection in the first place.
