President Biden canceled the Keystone Pipeline on day one. Expected job losses: 10,000. Now he’s proposing to raise the minimum wage. Expected job losses: 1.3 million. Reopen America. Don’t close it for business.

Are those 10k pipeline jobs permanent? Not that there is no impact, but there is a big difference.

When we have a real infrastructure bill, i.e. not the kind that comes in 2 weeks, we’ll see job growth through the roof and a boost to the economy through consumer spending. Knowing republicans, they’ll veto it, then blame Biden for slow growth.

Typical fear lingering over people making a living wage

🤥🤥🤥 2,000 temporary construction jobs, then 35 permanent maintenance jobs.

10,000?? Source? Yes temporary construction jobs will be lost, but TransCanda said only 50 permanent jobs would be created. 35 in Canada. Compare that to the jobs XL pipeline threaten. Those supported by the ranches & farms—110,000 of them—that produced $41.6b worth of food..
