This is the same argumentation as "guns don't kill people...people kill people." But it's a bogus argument. The government closed churches BECAUSE of COVID-19 mismanagement...mostly by lying, greedy, selfish Republicans. Ignoring that cause is inherently dishonest.

That doctor didn’t sexually abuse those young men, those young men put themselves in that situation. She wouldn’t have been raped if she wouldn’t have dressed that way/drank/flirted. This is what you sound like. Excusing the predator and blaming the victim.
