This is disaster relief, not a "bailout." Moreover, blue states pay more in federal taxes than they get back in federal spending. When they need disaster relief, the federal gov't should be there. As it should for red states need disaster relief. Stop making this partisan.

Ohio slurps up $26 billion more in federal funding than it pays in federal taxes, Gym. You’re really good at keeping your mouth shut. Keep at it. #GOPCowards businessinsider.com/federal-…

If we had a competent pres/admin, it would’ve never come to this! trump knew #COVID19 was deadly, he chose to ignore, lie, & deny-result-over 300k deaths! R’s are also to blame for going along with trumps lies! We needed a national response, not each state doing their own thing!

Yes. Correct. States worked on their own to prevent even more unnecessary deaths. A job the federal government failed miserably at. And every American who suffered under this lack of leadership ABSOLUTELY deserves a bailout.

Our states are the economic engine that disproportionately powers the country's economy. We put in more federal tax dollars than we ever get in return. You wouldn't even be able to tweet if it weren't for California's tech sector, for example.
