They most certainly pushed mandates and lockdowns last year where I live! They were lifted and now the virus is taking over....I can stand to wear a mask and not travel for a few months. But unless the majority of people do the same, this virus will continue to spread.

That makes even less sense. Why would anyone have lockdowns and 'mandates' because people die of various things every year. Totally different than one Virus that is highly contagious and is spreading because of people's lack of precautions.
