Yesterday, the House Judiciary Committee passed H.R. 6570, the Protect Liberty and End Warrantless Surveillance Act.
The bill:
-Reauthorizes FISA 702 with significant reforms.
-Requires agencies to obtain a warrant before conducting a query of American citizens.
-Increases transparency of the FISA court.
-And holds bad actors accountable.

Today marks 82 years since the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Ohio native James Ward gave his life for our country that day.
His heroics won him the Medal of Honor.
Now, his remains will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
God bless him and all of the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice that day.
