✋According to @UN_Women: worldwide, 1 in 3 #women have experienced physical or sexual #violence — mostly by an intimate partner. #OrangeTheWorld
During the #Covid19 period, the number of complaints of domestic #violence increased. The Israeli Ministry of Welfare has decided to establish 60 new #treatment units in local authorities and distributed a digital diagnostic form that will help #women to assess their risk.
No2Violence Against Women was founded in 1977 in Israel. It operates shelters & apartments, a 24/7 hotline for women in distress, as well as a legal department.
It has provided services for about 6,000 women & 8,500 children.
