Hamas is not just a barbaric remnant of medieval tribal culture. Hamas enjoys wide support among Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims, Western radicals and totalitarian despots. Hamas is, from inception to now, Muslim Brotherhood. Iran, Qatar, European Union, United Nations, Türkiye and others have sponsored Hamas. Human rights organizations and NGOs bolster their cause by demonizing Israel. Naïve university students and faculty support them. US Congress members rationalize their atrocities and political goals to defend them. The Biden administration included the Muslim Brotherhood offshoot CAIR in its program against antisemitism. Hostage taking has been rewarded. Not since the Barbary Pirates has the practice been so lucrative. Even after the recent atrocities, their disgusting crimes are ignored or rationalized by those who will place their own cause above morality. The “by any means necessary” crowd embraces intersectional partners who they deem victims and offer reciprocal support in destruction, violence and hate. The Muslim Brotherhood must be designated a foreign terrorist organization by the US. Israel is on the front lines fighting against global jihad.
