Today @AmbRazShechter delivered her strong statement during the General Segment of #HRC40

(1/4) I am proud to represent Israel, the only democracy in Middle East, a country with strong institutions and legal system for all, where human rights are promoted, and where innovation is part of the ethos of its inhabitants.

(2/4) We were the greatest victims of Human history, yet we decided not to perpetuate victimhood but to build our country & to contribute to the international society, against all odds.

(3/4) Israel proved that when there is a sincere partner, peace, like we did with late President Saadat & late King Hussein.The Palestinian leadership however is choosing to glorify its terrorists & to pay them salaries instead of teaching younger generation peace & co-existence.
