🚛 75 trucks carrying international humanitarian aid were inspected and transferred to gaza via the Rafah crossing today.
The trucks contained medical supplies, food, and water.

It is deplorable and deeply concerning that once again, UN Special Procedure mechanisms have repeated propaganda led by the Hamas terrorist organization.
For years, Israel has warned the international community of the antisemitic and genocidal intentions by Hamas. The current war was brought upon Israel by Hamas terrorists who committed a massacre on October 7, butchering 1400 people and kidnapping 243 children, men and women.
Israel will protect its population and ensure that Hamas will never commit such heinous crimes again. Israel does so in compliance with IHL.
The IDF targets Hamas military capabilities and infrastructures, not civilians. Israel makes every effort to mitigate harm to civilians in Gaza, which are continuously and systematically used by Hamas terrorists as human shields.
Instead of endorsing the Hamas narrative, we call on the international community to condemn Hamas’ use of civilians as human shields and to condemn the diversion of humanitarian aid for its terrorist operations.

It is convenient to look away, isn't it @WHO?
The proof that Hamas HQ is under Shifa Hospital, and that it uses health facilties as shields for their terorrist activites are widely public. If you want to protect civilians, your responsibility is to clearly condemn Hamas for endangering them and health workers.
And to be very clear: Israel is at war with Hamas, the "de-facto authority" who has had effective control of the Strip since 2007. As such, the laws of armed conflict apply. No coordination is obligated, nor possible with Hamas in this case.
Israel is willing to discuss any possible humanitarian assistance with @WHO and other international actors. Our only targets are Hamas terrorists.

Every second of the Human Rights Council chaired by the Iranian representative will be an affront to the tens of thousands of innocent Iranians, Israelis and others from across the world who are victims of the Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies. No Member State that respects human rights should sit in the Social Forum and legitimize the main sponsors of Hamas’ terrorists.

❌ hospitals are #notashield
Hospitals should never be a target but they should also never be used as a shield.
By failing to condemn or even recognize Hamas’ cynical and systemic use of hospitals to shield their terrorist infrastructure and weapons, the @ICRC is giving terrorists worldwide a free pass to use health infrastructure to carry out terrorist acts and shield themselves from the consequences.
International law isn’t something one can pick and choose from. Article 19 makes it clear: the use of hospitals to harm the enemy deprives them of their protection.
🏥International humanitarian law is clear: hospitals must be protected by all parties to the conflict.
❌When hospitals are asked to evacuate, not everyone can leave
❌It is not possible to simply relocate the wounded, those in intensive care or mobility issues.
