A very moving ceremony today at @UNGeneva by @MisiaSr and @WorldJewishCong, to pay homage to Stefan Lux on his day of birth, a Slovakia-born Jewish journalist who committed suicide before the League of Nations in July 1936 to raise awareness for the plight of the Jews in Germany.

This year, a member of the COI targeting Israel made antisemitic remarks refering to “the Jewish lobby”, a millennia old antisemitic trope. These comments were a disgrace.
Today, 🇮🇱@Adi_Farjon thanked States who have condemned his remarks & called on others to do the same.#HRC51
