Yesterday, former Israeli diplomat, politician & the first Israeli to head the @UN_CSW, Tamar Eshel, passed away.
She will be remembered for her contribution to the State of Israel, to Israeli Diplomacy & to Israeli women & women across the world. May her memory be a blessing.

Today, #HRC50 adopted the resolution on the mandate on violence against #women, and for the 1st time included #girls in the mandate!
Israel is proud to support it! We will continue to do all we can to achieve equal rights for women & girls & combat gender-based violence.
