Today marks Tisha B'Av, a national day of mourning for the Jewish people. Tisha B'Av commemorates the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem & a series of tragedies throughout Jewish history. Wishing a meaningful fast to those who observe.

This afternoon, the Israeli delegation to #WIPOGA, including Deputy Director of Israel Patent Office Adv. Jacqueline Bracha, met with the Director General of @WIPO Daren Tang. They discussed future collaboration, including on projects focusing on #FemTech, #FoodTech & other related IP trainings.

Fruitful discussions with @WHO together with @JusticeGov and @IsraelMOH about Israel-WHO collaboration. #Israel has much to contribute to achieve, together with our international partners, #HealthForAll.

For the past 9 years the rights of Hadar, Oron, Avera, Hisham, and their families have been violated. Their suffering must come to an end! We will continue working tirelessly until they are back home!

Thank you to @yuvalshany1, @dana_yaffe @hebrew for representing the families before UN Treaty Bodies and assisting them in pursuing justice, and to @WorldJewishCong for cosponsoring the side event and bringing light to their plight.

They met with High Commissioner @volker_turk, with @ICRC Vice President @GCarbonnierICRC, and with numerous Ambassadors. They also shared their testimonies on the margins of #HRC53. Their one demand to the international community: speak up and act!

For 9 years now, Hadar Goldin, Oron Shaul, Avera Mengistu and Hisham el-Sayed have been held captive by the Hamas terrorist organization in complete violation and disregard to international law. Today, their families were in Geneva, calling for the return of their loved ones.
