Yesterday, former Israeli diplomat, politician & the first Israeli to head the @UN_CSW, Tamar Eshel, passed away. She will be remembered for her contribution to the State of Israel, to Israeli Diplomacy & to Israeli women & women across the world. May her memory be a blessing.

An important step forward for #HumanRights! #HRC50 has just approved the renewal of the #IESOGI mandate, which will help put an end to discrimination against #LGBTIQ persons. This is a victory for everyone pursuing equal rights for all.

#HRC50 Statement on #Afghanistan 🇦🇫 Reports of killings of #WomensRights defenders, closing of schools for girls & attacks on #women protestors are extremely alarming. The #Taliban promised change. Instead they are enacting the same archaic rules as when previously in power.
