This is not collective punishment. Israel does its utmost to protect civilians and mitigate harm to them, including providing advance notice to civilians regarding safer zones, while Hamas deliberately puts them in harm's way. IHL remains IDF's guide book, depiste Hamas brutality, and the shield the UN provides them with.

The silence by United Nations women's rights "champions" on the countless reports of rape and sexual abuse committed by Hamas on Israeli women, men and children is deafening. Silence is complicity. The victims need support, solidarity and justice.
