No special session was called on the health situation in Syria, Yemen, Sudan and many other conflicts around the world.   Do the victims of these conflicts matter less or does the world play by a different rulebook when it comes to Israel?

Hamas is the biggest threat to the wellbeing and security of innocent Palestinians in Gaza. Instead of investing in the future of Gaza’s children, Hamas has used all of its resources to fund terror and to line the pockets of its own leaders.

The calling of a special session of this kind is unprecedented in the history of the @WHO, and is once again an example of the double standard and disproportionate attention towards Israel in the multilateral arena. This is the first time a Special Session of the EB has been called on a country or political situation. A Special Session of the EB was never called on Ukraine, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Afghanistan, or any other emergency health situation. There is little doubt this session will not address Hamas's systemic use of hospitals, ambulances and medical facilities or the atrocities it carried out on October 7th, or the medical needs of hostages in Gaza.

On Sunday, @WHO Executive Board members, including the 🇺🇸🇦🇺🇨🇦🇩🇰🇫🇷🇯🇵🇨🇭 & others, must reject any resolution that does not condemn the #HamasMassacre & demand the immediate, unconditional return of all hostages.

As we will be lighting the 2nd candle of #Hanukka tonight, we remember the 138 hostages still in Gaza. One of them is Itai (38), who came to visit his parents in Kibbutz Beeri on October 7 and was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists. We pray and act for the return of all hostages.
