You don’t get it. It’s not about an UNRWA teacher who held an Israeli kid hostage in his house. It’s all about how for 75 years you have destroyed the future of generations of Palestinians, including my family. My cousins in Arab countries are still not citizens - not even the grandkids of the real refugees. My cousins in Lebanon are not even allowed to work in certain jobs. And my friends in Gaza and the West Bank continue to be victims of incitement in their own schools. And it’s all your fault. Shut UNRWA down.

Prof. Itay Pesach, head of children’s hospital in Tel Aviv who treated 12 of the children hostages that were returned to Israel: “They were severely abused, both psychologically and in other ways. When they’ll start telling their stories none of us will be able to sleep at night”. Prof. Pesach told @N12News that it appears some hostages were treated slightly better than others because Hamas wanted to showcase their condition to the world upon their release.

Only 2 weeks after her son Guy Illouz was taken hostage by Hamas after being shot at at the Nova festival, his mother Doris traveled to Geneva to meet with @ICRCPresident, urging the international community to act for the release of the hostages, before it is too late. Unfortunately, it has now been confirmed that Guy was killed by Hamas during his captivity. Our deepest thoughts are with Doris, who lost her only son, and to all friends and relatives of Guy. Finally, a much-needed dose of sanity in the UN's otherwise insane universe. Iran lost its bid for a seat on the #UNIDO Industrial Development Board. I can't help but ponder which 33 countries opted to support them in a secret vote. Perhaps they believed it was a ballot for the Terrorism Development Board.

As we enter Shabbat, there are still 141 hostages held captive by Hamas in Gaza, including Hadar Goldin, Oron Shaul, Avera Mengisto, and Hisham Al-Sayed. The four have been held incommunicado for 9 years already. We will never give up on bringing all hostages back home!

Approximately 140 Israelis - men women, children and the elderly, many of whom badly injured and in need of urgent medical care - are still held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Yesterday we hosted another delegation of family members of hostages, this time accompanied by the leadership of the Israeli Bar Association. They met with Swiss lawyers, politicians, officials and journalists and leaders of Jewish communities and organisations. We are committed to bringing back all our kidnapped people, to continue the fight against terrorism and antisemitism and demand that the International Community and institutions live up to their responsibility in this regard.

The map published divides the territory of Gaza into zones according to recognizable areas. This enables the residents of Gaza to orient themselves and to evacuate from specific places for their safety if required. Itay Regev Jerbi, who was released yesterday from Hamas's brutal and horrific captibity after 53 days, reunites in the hospital with his sister Mia, who was released a few days ago. Free at last.
