This is Shiri with her two kids: Kfir, 9 months old, and Ariel, 3 years old. They were brutally kidnapped yesterday from their home in Kibbutz Nir- Oz. Her husband Yarden, together with her two parents Yossi and Margit, were apparently kidnapped and brought to Gaza. Margit is sick and needs her medication. We need to share their story and let the world know!

I cannot imagine the feelings of these families: the mothers, the fathers, the friends, searching for their loved ones, with no idea about their condition or whereabouts. There is no end to the evil of Hamas. Terrorism will never win.

In response to a Hezbollah shooting from Lebanon into Israel, IDF Artillery struck targets in the area. An IDF UAV also struck Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in the area of Mount Dov. The IDF has taken preparational measures for this type of possibility. We will continue to operate in all regions and at any time necessary to ensure the safety of the Israeli civilians.

The reports coming from home are horrific. One can not grasp the sights and the numbers. My heart is with my family and friends back home, and I wish them a quiet night.

I spoke to my friend President @Isaac_Herzog and conveyed to him my full support to Israel in the face of today’s terrorist attack by Hamas. I reiterate that Israel has the right to self-defence. The EU mourns the victims of these senseless attacks and stands by Israel today and in the next weeks.

For the past 15 hours, Israel has been at war with Hamas terrorists who murdered more than 200 Israelis and injured another 900. Heavily armed Hamas terrorists infiltrated into Israeli towns and went door to door slaughtering and kidnapping innocent Israelis. Additionally the terrorists launched an extensive attack on Israel, firing THOUSANDS of rockets at Israeli civilians.
