The State of Israel considers freedom of religion and worship in Jerusalem which is holy to Jews, Christians and Muslims, a central value to the fabric of life in the city.

We are proud to have led this historical achievement, which will pave the way for improving the lives of the 2.4+ billion people worldwide with health conditions that could benefit from rehabilitation. Globally, 1 in 3 people are estimated to be living with a #health condition that would benefit from #rehabilitation. But those needs are largely unmet. That's what motivated us into leading the first @WHO resolution on this topic. It will be adopted tomorrow by #WHA76. Israel welcomes the participation of youth from around the world at #WHA76 including Yoel Collick a student working with @IsraelMOH. Involving #youth in decision making, especially regarding #globalhealth, is essential for a better future for all!

Women have proven to be powerful agents for peace, yet progress in increasing their participation & decision-making agency in disarmament and non-proliferation is still severely lagging. Much more needs to be done.
