The allegations made by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights are unfounded and devoid of truth. The IDF has carried out an investigation into the claims based on the information made public and has no record of any operation, nor incident, in the Al Remal neighbourhood in Gaza City that would support any of the allegations put forward by OHCHR. The fact that the United Nations publicly shares unverified and unsubstantiated claims made by NGOs is nothing but blood libel. This is yet further evidence of the partisan and prejudiced approach of OHCHR when it comes to Israel and part of a concerning trend of publishing unverified information. We call on High Commissioner Volker Türk to publicly withdraw the accusations made by his office. Israel is committed to the respect of its international obligations, and forcefully rejects any allegations of extrajudicial killings. We will continue to investigate any serious claims brought to Israel's attention.

For years, the Iranian regime has supported, funded and armed Hamas and other terrorist groups across our region. Last week, the Iranian FM was in Geneva, where he spoke at #HumanRights75 and emphasised that Hamas were not a terrorist group, but a Palestinian freedom movement. The room was full of Ambassadors from around the world. No one spoke up. The world must stop being silent on Iran. Their murderous ideology is like a cancer spreading through our region and beyond. We must treat the cause, not just the symptoms.

Hamas recently released a video of three elderly Israeli hostages being held captive in Gaza. This is just another form of Hamas' psychological warfare and we will not give them a platform by posting the video. You have to be a special kind of evil to take pride in torturing and kidnapping elderly men and women. Hamas will pay for their crimes. #HamasisISIS

"They hide in hospitals because for them a hospital is a safe place. They won't be targeted when they are inside a hospital… I know 16 employees in the hospital - doctor, nurse, paramedic, or clerks… who also have different positions in [Hamas] al-Qassam Brigade”.* "There are offices where the Hamas leader and two of the senior officials were. There’s a place where the soldier was in (the kidnapped soldier). There’s a place for the interrogators, internal security, and special security. All of them have private telephone lines inside the hospital". The testimony from the Director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza is damning. He admits Hamas turned hospitals into military facilities. @WHO must speak out against this abomination, it must condemn Hamas. It must stand against terrorists groups using human shields. The impunity must end.

#Ceasefire. On August 1st, 2014, during Operation Protective Edge, Israel agreed to a ceasefire. What did Hamas do? It broke it. Hours after the ceasefire entered into force, Hamas launched an attack on the IDF, killed 2 soldiers, and captured Lt. Hadar Goldin through a terror tunnel. Since then, Hadar's body is still being held by Hamas. For the past nine years, Hamas has held hostage Lt. Hadar Goldin, Sgt. Oron Shaul, Avera Mengisto and Hisham Al-Sayed (2015). No information was ever shared about their fate. The @ICRC has never been allowed to visit them. A ceasefire is viewed by Hamas terrorists only as an opportunity. An opportunity to plan further destruction.

Today I spoke at @UN_HRC on the situation in #Ukraine. As a country who just suffered from a brutal attack and acts of savagery, Israel remains concerned over reports of attacks against civilians in Ukraine, including reports of torture and sexual and gender based violence. I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to the Ukrainian people for their support during our challenging times and commended the resolute statements of their leaders. May both our nations soon emerge from the shadows.

Several Israeli hostages, including children, were held for 33 days in a hospital in Gaza. The complicity of Palestinian health workers in Gaza is evident. The failure by the International community, including @WHO, @ICRC to recognize and address this, is a moral failure

What @DrTedros isn’t telling you, is that Hamas had embedded itself inside Kamal Aswan hospital. Before the IDF entered the compound, a dialogue was carried out in coordination with the medical teams. IDF forces allowed a humanitarian window and most of the hospital was evacuated. Israel arrested 90 terrorists in the area some who had carried out the October 7th terrorist attack. Israel also destroyed terrorist infrastructure and located many weapons and intelligence documents including hidden in the baby ward inside incubators. ❌ no mention by @WHO of Hamas entrenchment in hospitals. ❌ no condemnation of Hamas for storing weapons in hospitals. ❌ once again, the international community turns a blind eye to Hamas use of human shields. Facts matter. Using hospitals, health personnel and patients to store weapons and hide terrorists must end.

4 kilometres of underground tunnel. That's where the Hamas terrorists have been investing and diverting the international aid, for years!
