1/5 The UNIFIL statement issued last night regarding the rocket fire from southern Lebanon by terrorist groups is unfortunate and disappointing. The statement raises doubts about the force's ability to act in accordance with its mandate.

Israel is committed to the Status Quo on the Temple Mount. Despite provocations by terrorist organizations, despite attempts to stoke violence: we have done and continue to do everything to enable peaceful prayer. My full remarks from earlier today ➡️ bit.ly/3LeWXQ3

Every Muslim in the world must see this video. This is what truly happened on the Temple Mount this morning: a small group of Islamic extremists tried to take over Al-Aqsa Mosque. They want to forcibly remove the moderates who simply want to observe Ramadan and pray in peace.

Order of events in #AlAqsa Mosque over the last few days: 1) #Palestinian thugs disrupt the peace in the mosque, throw rocks, fire fireworks from inside it & endanger the holy site. 2) Police disperses them. 3) Calm is restored & thousands of Muslims pray in peace for Ramadan.

This morning a small number of violent rioters again desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque, throwing stones and Molotov Cocktails from inside the mosque. The violence endangers worshipers attempting to enter the mosque, and impeded police efforts to ensure freedom of worship at the site.
