To commemorate the miracle of the cruse of oil that lasted 8 days and kept the flame 🔥 of the #Menorah alive, we traditionally eat foods fried in oil, usually latkes (potato pancakes 🥞) or #sufganiyot, doughnuts taken to the next level🍩🚀

And of course, we light #Hanukkah candles. On each of the holiday’s 8⃣ nights, another 🕯️ is added. While the initial 🔥 is not diminished, it creates a greater light, symbolizing that when sharing, our portion is not diminished, but enlarged. (🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️/)
