Israel is at war. Earlier this morning armed Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israeli communities and started going house to house and murdering innocent Israelis. Some of the images are so disturbing we cannot even share them. We will take every measure to protect our citizens and target those who harm them.

There are dozens of Hamas terrorist currently patrolling the streets of southern Israel and going house to house trying to slaughter Israeli families. This is beyond our worst nightmare.

News of civilians taken as hostages in their homes or to Gaza are appalling. This is against international law. Hostages must be released immediately.

Residential areas across the state of Israel have been under rocket barrage since early this morning. Armed Hamas terrorists are patrolling the streets and trying to slaughter innocent Israeli civilians who have barricades themselves into their homes. We are at war.

Horrified at the unfolding attacks on #Israel. We condemn the terror and violence waged against innocent people. My thoughts are with all those under fire, all the first responders and those defending against these brutal attacks. Terror will never prevail. 🇪🇺 🇮🇱

I unequivocally condemn the attack carried out by Hamas terrorists against Israel. It is terrorism in its most despicable form. Israel has the right to defend itself against such heinous attacks.

A horrific morning here in Israel with more than 2,000 rockets fired at major cities across Israel, Hamas terrorists infiltrating communities in southern Israel and shooting at families on their way to Shabbat prayers. We will respond forcefully and take every measure necessary to protect Israelis against this evil terrorism.

According to reports couple of dozens (tens) of terrorists entered Israel on foot, with pickup trucks, motorcycles, and using paragliders. At the same time hundreds of rockets were shot starting at 06:30 am
