VIDEO🔴: I joined the Israeli 🇮🇱 Ambassador to Morroco 🇲🇦@DavidGovrin in visiting the Jewish community in Marrakech, expressing Israel’s support and solidarity with the people of Morocco, following the devastating earthquake.
Ambassador Govrin toured the Al-Amza synagogue and the “Elfsain” synagogue, damaged by the earthquake and spoke with local residents. The synagogues are two of the four ancient synagogues in Marrakech’s Old City.
Israel and our embassy in Morocco stand with the people of Morocco and are ready to assist as needed.

An advance team from the Israeli medical organization United Hatzalah has been active in Morocco since early Sunday morning. This is the first rescue team to reach this area in the mountains. They found devastation but also a lot of resilient and strong people.
