Right certain #biodiversity aspects get media attention, but comparatively little to #climate. Latest example, current #IPBES6 gets hardly any media coverage in German media, even @guardian isn't covering it (yet?)! #scicomm

I think one problem is the diversity of (existing) #biodiversity organisations and meetings, cf @IUCN, @CBDNews @WWF @CITES @BonnConvention , all of which got extensive coverage during their meetings and #COPs. As a newcomer, @IPBES either has to create synergies or small share
