Consider non-monetary value of these resources to #Indigenous & local communities, who manage 80% of intact ecosystems? If protecting their rights requires value in $$$ terms, pre-#pandemic, the @WEF said they are worth $33 trillion to global econ sector. @IPCC_ch has more.

Demonstrate the cost of living without ecosystem services: no free air conditioning provided by trees, storm surge increased without the presence of wetlands and coral reefs, filtration of drinking water provided by tree roots and vegetation, and hundreds more!
