This video nails it. Indigenous & traditional knowledge is vital for protecting biodiversity. But that knowledge is tied to a specific place, so insecure land tenure puts it at risk. If local communities are thrown off their lands, their valuable knowledge is lost. @LandRightsNow

sustainable development is still development for some to make profits & to use resources of nature. we need #restauration & #conservation led by #IndigenousPeoples to stop #Biodiversityloss & to tackle #ClimateEmergency.nature can't & mustn't be valued in terms of profits & money
