They also conserve and restore #habitat and #connectivity for native #fish & #wildlife (& plants+fungi +...) #biodiversity, filter runoff and protect #water quality, and lest we forget their #spiritual and #health benefits - that magical feeling of ancient #oldgrowth #forests...

Great iniciatives, but only if the right tree is plantesnin the right location. The use of introduced trees could have larger negative impacts.
