Think that is totally misleading. It is impossible that the forest of mixed species will grow that much faster. All that dense planting can do is establish a forest quicker. Once vegetation covers the area there is no magic that can make the plants that much more efficient.

Utter drivel from the World Economic Forum. The more we're inspired by garbage ideas like this the less we pay attention to things that actually work, like renewables and carbon taxes. "Miniature Urban Forests" are an amenity, like a playground, w/ just as much enviro-impact.

There are some pretty dubious claims there re biodiversity and carbon. Urban "forests" are great but best not to overpromise.
