Good summary, but it is falsely blaming population growth only. Per capita consumption is expected to rise by 200% in the same period while pop will grow less than 50%, so consumption growth is much more responsible for these effects than population growth.

...especially because those areas where the population is still rising have typically the smallest per capita environmental footprint; they eat and waste the less, the least meat, etc. It is us, in the rich world, whose hunger for growing consumption drives this trend.
