All ideas are welcome, but certainly a species extinction limit such as the equivalent goal of 2ºC in climate change cannot be THE GOAL. A real and concrete objective is the reduction of the root causes of biodiversity loss. Sp extinction reduction comes together.

It's a false premise: the 'simple' 1.5 goal hasn't achieved remotely sufficient action either. The problem isn't the complexity/simplicity of the targets, it's the failure to undertake any meaningful action while many NGOs and govts make apologies and champion tokenism.
