Policy options to prevent pandemics is quite a challenge. Maybe better to look for options to reduce the likelihood of such crises and enhance our capacity to endure them, or resilience. After #Corona we are going to have to reappraise our understanding of resilience anyway.

Yes. This should be a wake-up call to humanity.
As we persevere to the difficult time, we believed beyond doubt that #pandemics and the destruction of #natural system are very much in tango, if so to say. The ills we're doing to the natural sequence of lives on earth was the driving force behind pandemics.
We considered it a IPBES-Biz anyway, believed Federal+StateGovs already implementing elaborte strategies for #biodiversity protection re the colorful programs! Anyway, don't forget to inform @JRukwied (🇩🇪's Farmer's Assn.—@Bauernverband) & main #lobbyist|s of #BigAgro+#BigPharma.
One sound option would be to make the Amsterdam Declaration effective by EU regulation to import only tropical ressources, like palmoil and soy, if from deforestation-free agriculture and monitor regions with satellites. Exclude conventional products from import into our markets.
