Governments also need to look closer to home, at how air pollution from solid fuel burning, traffic and farming affect people’s health and ability to cope with disease.

Very happy that the link is taken seriously, that one of the most nature aware and thoughtful countries in the world speaks about nature destruction as underlying course, and that IPBES is called in by the German government to provide more clarity. A great step forward. 🍀⚘🌱

@CITES is the multilateral environmental agreement which should regulate illegal #wildlifetrade, eg #pangolins. @INTERPOL_HQ established a special #taskforce to investigate. Any assessment of #compliance?
