If that seems so easy why not harvesting dry and dead bushes&trees from a forest before they become fuel for a bushfire? So the firefighters won鈥檛 need to light a backfire.

How many years will it take before the trees which survive & grow, start to absorb meaningful amounts of carbon? Is it not more sensible to grow saplings in a controlled, nursery environment, where development is much faster & health guaranteed, then plant & nurture with humans?

Tree-planting #drones can help, 4sure, but they do the job of natural #seeddispersal agents - #apes #elephants #monkeys #badgers #birds etc - better to protect the animal #GardenersoftheForest where they survive, to maintain healthy #forest #ecosystems, rather than techno-fixes!
