Stopping deforestation & starting reforestation is essential … but if we continue to make the lifestyle demands we are making, there is no way those measures will be a solution.

Plus we need to ramp down demand for products that lead directly to habitat destruction and biodiversity loss. Before you buy something ask yourself: "Do I really NEED to buy that?" If not, perhaps pass on it and help heal the planet.

We absolutely need to scale up #restoration efforts but we must in parallel do everything we can to stop #deforestation which is still at near record levels. These two together make up the bulk of opportunity to deliver #NatureBasedSolutions
