Also often overlooked is the current ecological crisis, which would be happening even without climate change. The poor IPBES hardly gets a look-in compared to the IPCC 1.5 degree report, but is equally serious IMO. The combination is😱 . XR is not just about climate change.

Thanks for the concern but factually this is not fully accurate - the @IPBES #GlobalAssessment Report at least matched and on many metrics (especially in online and print media) outpaced the 1.5 Degrees Report.

But media that did cover it (and still do) should also be credited - the story beat the birth of the Royal Baby on @BBCNews the day he was born! Two main hashtags generated more than 30 million impressions and #GlobalAssessment was beaten only by #GameofThrones in many countries
