That's a wildly inaccurate observation. Population growth is mentioned in at least 12 different contexts in the Summary for Policymakers of the @IPBES #GlobalAssessment - including the key findings. But perhaps a good moan is more important than the facts...

I don’t recall seeing any tweets specifically addressing population growth. Sorry I must have missed that. I did note however see that the IPBES glibly used the term β€˜land use change’ in their summary. I presume that was referring to ecosystem destruction.
