The land we depend on is in danger. On 8 Aug, the @IPCC_CH Report on #ClimateChange & Land (#SRCCL) will show that our #food, #water, health & well-being are under threat—mostly due to human activity. Without urgent, transformative change, our land will be irreparably degraded.

Doesn’t CO2 aid plant production??? Greenhouses pump up their CO2 levels to around 2000ppm to aid growth??? There you go solved the food issue!!

Nearly one third of climate disorder is interlocked with producing, storing, preparing, consuming and wasting meat/dairy/fish/eggs and becoming ill of animal protein, carcinogens, antibiotics, foodborne/metabolic diseases. And with deforestation to make up for 65 billion animals

The “urgent, transformative change” you are referring to, means that urbanised, industrialised populations quickly replace animal-derived food with plant-based food. That sweeping yet easy change should reduce GHGs by over 32% when land is reforested or afforested in the process.
