Hi @EcosystemsNet Thanks for the feedback. Actually 99% of all IPBES comms/outreach is in language that is widely accessible BUT this is a formal IPBES notification/call to a very specific set of experts - the language choice is 100% deliberate.

Bear with us though - you will be hearing a LOT more about the very important #ValuesAssessment over the next year and a half - in very much more accessible language.

Thanks - danger people (incl Ministers) will disengage if there isn't some good quality text out there soon. We really struggled with the long-sentences in the Global Synthesis. The UK NEA suffered with the same problem...great work but few read it.
