Today, 29 July, humanity crossed the line. The 🌎's annual natural resources have been consumed in just 7 months, at a rate pretending we have 1.7 Earths. Business as usual is consuming #nature's ability to provide cleaner & healthier food, water and air

Do you have a favorite proposal for how to bring impacts of various kinds into line w/ what most people think is acceptable? Biological Model for Politics and Economics: gaiabrain.blogspot.com/2010/… E.g: charge fees to industries that pollute / deplete resources / disturb habitat.

Define “resource”. The only way you can is thru your terribly warped Malthusian lense. Your ultimate goal is far fewer of us and more of you. Please also explain how that will be achieved.

It’s not a problem. If a specie is not mature and smart enough, it’s going to extinguish. That’s the nature, that’s the life. Earth doesn’t mind.

Business as usual is no option when your budget is on minus. Everybody knows that, even those who deny it. My pledge is to use a little less of all resources. And from better sources. Less but better.
