Hi Garry, earlier this year IPBES hosted a pilot web conference on Land Degradation and Restoration knowledge needs and gaps which had nearly 1000 participants. As this was quite successful, we will implement additional web conferences to improve accessibility and our footprint.

Why do you believe a message of, "Worry about everything, all the time" will be successful in the long run? We aren't evolved w/ a psychology that enables us to 'worry about' everything, all the time. To limit the various human impacts on the env't, we need to make prices honest
I stayed home from a 2 day meeting in Paris and instead will be presenting remotely at 6 AM tomorrow morning from home In California

People should vote on a world scale to decide who must be allowed to have a big carbon footprint In other words, who is REALLY useful to our civilization ? Top to bottom,it must be something like : Farmers, nurses, doctors, people who work in the grids sector,refuse collectors
