Politics is all about choices. I choose to place the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, public transport users, and the children being poisoned in their schoolyards by single occupancy 4x4s before the convenience of drivers...
Which means you don't represent everyone equitably. How about you give drivers a discount on their council tax for the salary you are drawing but not earning. Boroughs are not your political plaything.

This from the FT is quite perceptive - the roads are the next political battlefield - and it's hard to see how cars won't win. Maybe local government can overcome the big money-central government axis, but I'm not optimistic: ft.com/content/8bf2f9c8-2f27…

So we know there are approximately ~1.8 million creatures on the planet. The UN report stated 8 million and 1 million would be killed off. But since 1870 the # of species dying off has declined significantly, UN report doesn't jive with the facts.

Thank you, read the info in the link. Not very scientific example "Around 10,000-15,000 new species" no scientist would use "Around" for a range. Range would not be used, statistically really poor use. Statistically very poorly presented, grade F. Read a lot of papers, hmm!
