Extinction is not limited to animal species, as naturally grown up plants and trees which are unaccounted have gone extinct. These plants had tremendous magical medicinal values , those have been lost forever. Now we are wandering in search of alternative medical solutions.
Too often, at least in India, #biodiversity is perceived as a sub of scientific skills, involving scientists to identify & record #species, both fauna and flora. Biodiversity is central to #communities who hv bn custodian for generations. It's their #livelihoods. @AndyPurvisNHM

The interconnected web of life is something humanity has all but forgotten through the plasticization and commercialism of our modern age, but don’t be fooled our lives are still intrinsically connected to the health of the nature, we must return to being a regenerative society.
