HUGE plothole in Infinity Wars! Instead of trying to kill half of all life in the universe, why wouldn't Thanos simply use the infinity stones to create a form of government that more fairly represents and aids all people equally? His plan makes no sense!

If Thanos' plan made ANY sense, he would use the REALITY STONE to travel to each and every restaurant across the universe and manifest an extra chef

Thanos needed people to feel loss and remorse so they appreciate the resources they have. Just giving people more resources would have resulted in the spoiled greedy nature that destroyed his society on Titan.
