pi 3 board: $35 case, cables, microsd: $15+ two decent quality snes usb controllers: $20-30

true, but someone who doesn't want to go through the trouble of loading roms onto a snes def won't do the same thing but with linux

I just think at this point anyone who would be interested in setting up a Pi knows about it. You're less obnoxious about it than most, tho

The irony is that the people that clicked "Buy" on Amazon WONT get their order to their door...
Since people were asking: -Amazon preorders did not ship and are apparently scheduled to ship throughout Oct according to CSR chats. Sold them on Treasure Trucks instead of shipping them... -Walmart backordered some preorders late last night, shipped some.
