Faithful remakes suck, gimme more FF7R! Id make an exception for Bravely Default though

A Game that was good and perfect for its time, doesn't hold up to the standards of today - big surprise. For real though: Super Mario RPG is great and fun BUT it is damn lacking in many aspects we are used to by today. Mostly SFX and Character Voices.

Except it's not even remotely faithful in the soundtrack or visuals.

Was there a version of this in 2017 for the Crash remakes? Because that was an annoyingly common complaint I had about reviews of it at the time.

This is how I felt reading some reviews. "This is the most faithful remake Nintendo has ever put out and almost everything I wanted in a remake but... it didn't fix my marriage. 7/10."

Except it didn't even, lol. The postgame fights were kinda cool, and so were the triple attacks. SMRPG so godlike it even owns the meme site headlines

My hatred of trying to deal with jumping in a game with an isometric camera questions your use of the word perfect to describe the game.
