I did that without realizing the price, traded a Machamp from starter deck for my friend's Hitmonchan. Turns out Haymaker was the top deck at the time and Hitmonchan was $$$. His parents found out about the $ difference and made such a stink the school banned pokemon cards. Oops

The kid who actually stole my charizard is infact dead so this is incredibly relatable.
