... The PS3 about to be 17 years old. That makes it older, then what the SNES was back when the PS3 first launched. That makes it older then what the N64 was when the PS4 launched.

In all seriousness, the only reason I wouldn't consider the PS3 "retro" is that it's still possible to buy most games for it and play them on the original hardware
