I'd go with Sonicrio, perfectly emulating the Metroidvania name with putting the inferior series first and the series that owns the genre second 🙃 Anyway, I won't lose sleep if search-action replaces Metroidvania. I say the word "explore" is right there but whatever.

Metroidvania and Soulslikes are both action adventure games. Are we going to call things "Tomb Raider-likes"? Roguelike is the only one that really makes sense.
